Manrique Medical Partners

About MMP

Founder & CEO – Manrique Medical Partners (MMP)

Dr. Manuel Manrique is a Peruvian physician with a Cusqueñan heart and a lifelong passion for compassionate, human-centered care. Raised in a family deeply rooted in medicine—his mother a dedicated nurse and his father a respected internal medicine physician—Dr. Manrique was immersed in the healthcare world from an early age.

He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in Lima, graduating in 2014, and gained invaluable experience working in emergency departments in Peru. Driven by a vision of delivering global-standard care, he moved to the United States and became a licensed physician in 2017.

In 2018, he began his Internal Medicine residency at Loyola Medicine MacNeal Hospital in Chicago, IL, completing the program in 2021. He then relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he has been practicing across various healthcare settings, offering care that combines clinical excellence with deep personal connection.

In 2024, Dr. Manrique joined the Chief Medical Officer Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and graduated in 2025. That same year, he founded Manrique Medical Partners (MMP)—a practice built on the principle of treating patients the way we would treat our own family members.

Through MMP, Dr. Manrique currently delivers high-quality, bilingual (English and Spanish) medical services across multiple cities in California. He is also leading the expansion of travel medicine services in Cusco, Peru, focusing on altitude-related health issues and common travel-related conditions. With plans to grow across Peru and into additional U.S. states, Dr. Manrique is committed to building a healthcare model that is not only effective—but also deeply human.
